The Assaf Family
After almost I think, 2 years of trying to get together to have a session, we were finally able to complete this amazing family session! I have known the Assaf Family for many years now! Initially Ty and I were on the Barrhead Fire Department together, and living in a small town everyone knows everyone. It eventually lead to babysitting and attending the same events. Little did I realize how much things would change before we got to this session! The kids are so grown up! Siraj just graduated from high school this year!
Like any other family, nervousness in front of comes naturally. I was able to help guide each one and make them more comfortable in front of the camera. We had tonnes of laughs and happy faces throughout our session. We did different "posed" images with prompts to get a more natural smiles and reactions. I also am sneaky enough to grab a few shots that you may not notice me getting, I love the way candid shots turn out when your aren't aware that they camera is actually pointed at you. Even if you do not enjoy having your picture taken, I can still work with you to get some fantastic shots.
Families are one of my most favourite things to shoot because there are so many personalities to work with. Be it the one person who really doesn't enjoy photos, to the one who has all the poses ready in their head. I love being able to showcase each person's personality in each photo.
My family sessions always include individual shots of each family member, couples shots, the whole family and sibling shots, sometimes more. I always try and include any special images that they family requests and I love including poses that family members think of or would like to replicate! I want to personalize your session and make sure you get exactly what you came for!
